Maison Burkart is a full-service interior design and styling studio founded by Sierra Burkart, whose background spans residential interiors, editorial styling, photoshoot production, and visual storytelling. After years spent designing and styling homes across the country, Sierra founded Maison Burkart around a simple belief: the most beautiful homes are deeply specific to the people who live in them.

Rather than designing toward a prescribed aesthetic, Sierra begins with the client, the way they live, what they are drawn to, where they’ve been, what they collect, and the things they want to remember. She brings those details together with a refined eye for color, material, scale, and composition, creating homes that feel considered and elevated, yet familiar, collected, and unmistakably their own.

Sierra’s approach was shaped early by the collected homes she grew up around, particularly her grandfather’s, a pink stucco desert castle filled with art, artifacts, and objects gathered throughout an extraordinary life. You could walk through his rooms and understand something about the person who lived there. That feeling continues to shape Maison Burkart today.

Sierra is drawn to the details that make people themselves: a book they return to, a place they spend every summer, an inherited object, a beloved hobby, or something discovered together in an antique shop. Her love of antiques, art, writing, travel, and thoughtful sourcing all inform the work, but personal connection is at its center.
